Completed in 2013, this 600-foot long marble corridor (officially known as WTC West Concourse) links the World Trade Center PATH Station on its east end with Brookfield Place (formerly World Financial Center) and the Battery Park City Ferry Terminal on its west end. It was the first part of the $3.9 billion new transit hub, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, to open to the public; 900 sqaure meters of Caldia marble panels were installed in the area where six escalators lead to the entrance of the Brookfield Place pavilion.
